SuperLove – Marvel’s Romantic Relationships Mapped

Whether you like it or not, that time of year has reared its heart-shaped head once again. As would be Romeo and Juliet’s around the country prepare to declare their undying love to each other through $2 cards and out of date chocolate, we at WebHostingBuzz decided to declare our love for Marvel comics and its universe. Or perhaps more accurately, find the love within the universe.

In terms of the Universe, we have decided to stick to the main one (Earth 616), as bringing those alternative versions into the mix can get messy… I mean in one of the alternatives Quicksilver and the Scarlett Witch get together… For those of you who don’t know, these two are brother and sister. Enough said I think.

Using our own geeky, comic book knowledge and some other fantastic resources on the web, we have researched and interweaved the various romantic relationships of all the Marvel Superheroes we could manage or that made sense.

As the title of the infographic implies, this is all about SuperLove. It is a focused piece on Superheroes or at least those with badass abilities and their love lives. Otherwise Wolverine’s list would have been double the size of the already sizable number he currently has. He has been around a long time ok! I do though apologise to all you Gwen Stacey and Itsu fans/other non-superheroes, unfortunately they won’t be making an appearance.

So, whether you are gorging yourself on your slightly stale chocolate or cursing all things Valentine related, we hope you will nerd out with us this Valentines and enjoy the wonder that is the dysfunctional romantic world of Marvel relationships.
